Trailblazing advocate for Title IX and women's rights to keynote 2025 Women In Leadership Luncheon

MANCHESTER — The Southwestern Vermont Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Berkshire Bank and Project Against Violent Encounters (PAVE), has announced the fourth annual Women In Leadership Luncheon. This empowering event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Hildene's Lincoln Hall in Manchester, Vermont. Attendees can anticipate an afternoon of insightful discussions on leadership and career advancement, complemented by a gourmet lunch.
This year's luncheon features keynote speaker Deborah Larkin, a distinguished advocate for women's rights and former CEO of the Women's Sports Foundation. With over 35 years of executive experience across corporate, nonprofit, and governmental sectors, Larkin has been instrumental in promoting civil rights, gender equity in sports, and leadership opportunities for women and girls nationwide. As the Executive Director and CEO of the Women's Sports Foundation (WSF), Larkin's leadership was pivotal in championing initiatives that have left an indelible mark on women's sports.
